Customer Solutions Specialist, Logistics & Customs

Here’s what you’re going to do
The Customer Solutions Specialist is the single point of contact for our multinational customers.
You have an important role in communicating with our customers and our suppliers in different locations. You coordinate the customer’s requests towards the our suppliers and monitor their progress and requests

Main focus areas
You take care of the day-to-day coordination of the our activities for the appointed control tower customers.
You monitor the activities and in case of irregularities you take action to resolve those. Your colleagues and managers support you at any time to find the solutions.

Preparing and controlling shipments
You ensure that shipments can be handled correctly as agreed with the customer. You maintain contacts with your customers / local suppliers and other departments, adjust where necessary, inform, advice. You solve bottlenecks and problems constructively, you are the daily first point of contact with the customer.

Communication is key
As mentioned above, you are the key person to communicate with your customers. You are the first point of contact for questions, but also for comments and improvement suggestions. You own a trustful relationship with your customer and develop it.

Administrative tasks
You take care of the daily administration of your customers in the system and you enter bookings, shipments and costs into the system. You support the invoicing team to process all additional (financial) administration and solve issues in consultation with our finance departments.

This is you.
We are looking for the perfect candidate for this position, are you:
– a communicator
– taken responsibilities and ownership of customers and tasks
– you like the challenge and are driven towards solutions
Furthermore, you have at least
* A completed MBO program that is relevant for this field 
* You have experience in logistics, transport and / or customs
* Good communication skills
* Problem solving skills
* Good administrative skills
* Good Knowledge of English in word and writing. Other language skills are very welcome
then you are the perfect candidate.
