Administration Official

Here’s what you’re going to do
The Control Tower officer is the single point of contact for control tower customers.
You have an important role in communicating with our customers and the customs brokers. You coordinate the customer’s request toward the customs brokers and monitor them

Main focus areas
You take care of the day-to-day coordination of the customs activities for the appointed control tower customers.
You monitor the activities and in case of irregularities you escalate them to your manager / team leader.

Preparing and shipping shipments
You ensure that shipments can be shipped correctly as agreed with the customer. You maintain contacts with your customers / customs brokers, adjust where necessary, inform, advice and escalate when necessary. You solve bottlenecks and problems constructively, you are the daily first point of contact with the customer.

Communication is key
As mentioned above, you are expected to communicate with your customers. You are the first point of contact for questions, but also for comments and complaints. You solve these in consultation with your manager / team leader.

Administrative tasks
You take care of the daily administration of your customers in the system and you enter bookings, shipments and costs into the system. You process all additional (financial) administration and solve problems in consultation with our finance departments.

This is you.
We are looking for the perfect candidate for this position, are you:
– a communicator
– taken responsibilities and ownership of customers and task
– able to guarantee the quality level we offer to our customers..
Furthermore, you have at least
* A completed MBO program that is relevant for this field
* You have experience in logistics and/or transport
* Good communication skills
* Problem solving skills
* Good administrative skills
* Analytical ability and the power to make the translation directly into practice
* Good Knowledge of English in word and writing. Other language skills are very welcome
then you are the perfect candidate.
